Tressie Coleman celebrates birthday - NORTHPORT - Tressie Coleman, 87, of Glenn Have Nursing Home, formerly of Millport, celebrated her 87th birthday on Saturday, November 7.
Mrs. Coleman, born on November 7, 1911, celebrated her birthday among 20 or more family and friends.
She was married to the late Claude Coleman. The Coleman’s have four children: Flavous, Willard, Peggy and Burlis; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Coleman said this was the best birthday she ever had.
The Colemans operated the Millport Diner for several years.
